Nancy Carol Sculthorp, 72, passed away on January 29, 2015. Nancy was born on November 18, 1942 in Elyria, Ohio to Karl and Ida Scharein. She was a member of the Smyrna Shrine Guild for over 30 years, and was a Past Imperial Maharanee. She was a Registered Nurse in the Indianapolis area for over 30 years. Nancy is survived by her stepchildren, Rob (Cathy) Sculthorp and Christi Sculthorp; granddaughters, Megan and Corinne, great grandson, Owen; brothers, Karl (Josephine) Scharein and Art (Helen) Scharein; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at on Tuesday, February 3 at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 5233 E. 79th Street, Indianapolis, with calling at 10 a.m. Friends may also call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, with a Smyrna Shrine Guild service at 7 p.m. Nancy will be laid to rest, with her husband, at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s honor to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children or the ICSG of A, Inc. Educational Fund.
